Aerial view of industrial fabric buildings with loading docks in Ontario

DESIGNED FOR
HEAVY INDUSTRY.

Engineered fabric buildings for commercial storage, composting, mining, port operations, and industrial applications, built to Canadian standards.

Clear-Span Space. No Columns. No Limits.

Semi-truck inside a clear-span fabric building warehouse

Warehousing & Storage

Back a semi-trailer straight inside. No columns to dodge, no tight corners. Loading dock doors and open ends keep product moving. Get your warehouse up in weeks, not months.

Loader working inside a composting facility fabric building

Composting & Environmental

Loaders work freely inside while ventilation systems manage airflow and odour. The steel framing won't corrode, even after years of exposure to the harshest composting chemicals.

Heavy mining equipment housed inside a fabric building

Mining & Resources

Protect stockpiles and equipment at remote sites. Insulation options handle temperature-sensitive materials, and the building sheds snow on its own. No crew needed on the roof.

Port & Maritime

Protect cargo and bulk materials at the dock. Built to stand up to punishing coastal winds. Open ends let loaders move freely between buildings and yard.

Why Industry Chooses Fabric Buildings

  • Corrosion-proof steel framing, built to outlast composting, mining, and chemical environments
  • Loading dock doors, garage doors, and open ends to configure access for your operation
  • Insulation and climate control for temperature-sensitive storage
  • Engineered to the 2020 National Building Code: permanent, permit-ready structures
  • Up and operational in weeks, not the months a conventional steel building takes
  • Custom branding: put your company logo right on the building

How Big Can You Build?

Clear-Span Width33' – 160'
Interior ColumnsNone
LengthUnlimited
Peak HeightUp to 53'

Steel framing is sized to match your site's exact snow, wind, and load requirements. Heavier loads get heavier steel, engineered to your conditions.

Zero columns. Massive clearance. Room for equipment, stockpiles, and full-size vehicles to operate freely.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a coverall building?
"Coverall" is a legacy brand name that Canadians commonly use to refer to any fabric-covered steel building. The technical term is a tension fabric building: a permanent structure built on a rigid steel frame and covered with a high-strength engineered membrane. MegaDome is a leading manufacturer of tension fabric buildings, producing them in Quebec since 1999 with galvanized steel framing and membranes rated for Canadian climate loads.
Can fabric buildings handle heavy snow loads?
Yes. Our fabric buildings are engineered to site-specific snow loads as required by the 2020 National Building Code of Canada. The gable and A-frame profiles naturally shed snow, and optional snow deflectors are available for extreme northern installations. The steel framing is sized to match your location's exact snow and wind requirements, and heavy-duty configurations handle the most demanding snowfall zones in the country.
Are fabric buildings permanent or temporary?
These fabric buildings are permanent structures. They are engineered to the same building codes as conventional steel buildings, come with sealed engineering plans, and are built on permanent foundations (concrete slab, grade beam, or piers). The galvanized steel framing resists corrosion for decades, and the membranes carry 15 to 20 year warranties. Some foundation types (like concrete blocks) do allow for relocation if needed.
What foundation options are available for industrial fabric buildings?
Industrial fabric buildings can be installed on multiple foundation types: concrete slab (permanent finished floor), grade beam (elevated continuous support), in-ground beam (flush-to-grade appearance), concrete piers (cost-effective for massive clear-spans), or concrete blocks (repositionable). The foundation type is selected based on soil conditions, building size, intended use, and permanence requirements. Integrity Builds assesses your site and recommends the optimal foundation.
How wide can a clear-span fabric building be?
Our fabric buildings offer clear-span widths from 33' up to 160' with no interior support columns. The wide-span gable shape handles the largest buildings (100' to 160' wide) with heavy-duty steel framing. Standard gable buildings cover 50' to 100', and the A-frame shape provides 60' to 100' widths with soaring ceilings up to 45'. Length is unlimited, and buildings can be extended by adding additional arches.
